She was predeceased by: her parents, Max McNeil and Mary McNeil (Fessler); and her brothers, Philip McNeil, Robert McNeil and James McNeil.
She is survived by: her husband Jerry Matheson; her daughter Tammy Hopp (John) of Munger, MI; her grandchildren, Jordan, Nathan and Brandan Hopp; her stepchildren, Kregg Matheson (Michele) of Flushing, MI, Kellie Stawasz (Tom) of Flushing, MI, Korie Hamilton (Lance) of Flushing, MI and Andrea Lawson; her stepgrandchildren, Tyler, Olivia, Jordynn, Delaney, Noah, Danny, Megan (Jay) and Zack (Savannah); her sister Dory Beach (Duane); and her sister-in-law Jan McNeil.
Visitation was held on Sunday, September 22nd 2024 from 2:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Monday, September 23rd 2024 at 10:00 AM. A funeral service was held on Monday, September 23rd 2024 at 11:00 AM at the St. Charles and Helena Church (230 E Vienna St, Clio, MI 48420).
