We are sad to announce that on January 20, 2025 we had to say goodbye to Marilyn Holmes-Ivey of Frankenmuth, Michigan. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Roy McPherson and Grace McPherson; her former husband Cyril Holmes; her husband Gerald "Wayne" Ivey; and her siblings, Claire, Lyle Sr., Violet, Lillian and Flora.
She is survived by: her children, Cris Holmes (Eunice), Ken Holmes (Lynn) of Kalamazoo, MI, Mike Holmes (Barb) of Lansing, MI, Cindy Reif (Dave) and Judy Holden (Steve Frank). She is also survived by seven grandchildren, thirteen great grandchildren, stepchildren, step grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, January 23rd 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Friday, January 24th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM. A funeral Mass will be held on Friday, January 24th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Blessed Trinity Catholic Church (958 E Tuscola Rd, Frankenmuth, MI 48734).
In lieu of flowers, those planning an expression of sympathy may wish to consider memorials to Compassus Hospice or Blessed Trinity Catholic Church, Frankenmuth.
