We bid farewell to Lucille Laarz of Frankenmuth, Michigan, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on December 25, 2024 at the age of 98. She was predeceased by: her parents, Sigmund Bierlein and Clara Bierlein (Ortner); her husband Werner Laarz; her sister Cynthia Riethmeier (Wallace); and her siblings-in-law, Gladys Christmann (Paul), Norbert Bernthal (Ruth Kueffner) and Marilyn Dey (Clayton).
She is survived by: her children, Craig Bernthal (Gail) and Cathy Tardif (Gil); and her grandchildren, Kristina Banks (Rob), Timothy Tardif (Teresa), Sarah Bernthal Zeitz (Chris) and Luke Bernthal (Hannah). She is also survived by eleven great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Thursday, January 2nd 2025 from 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Friday, January 3rd 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM. A funeral service was held on Friday, January 3rd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. Lorenz Lutheran Church (1030 W Tuscola St, Frankenmuth, MI 48734).
