He was predeceased by: his parents, Edwin Weiss and Hedwig Weiss (Trinklein); his mother-in-law Kathleen Scharrer; his wife Kathleen; and his siblings, Esther Fager, Wallace Weiss and Frederick Weiss.
He is survived by: his daughters, Marcia Burk (Dave), Mary Weiss and Margie Bergman (Paul); his grandchildren, Derek Burk (Heidi), Chelsea Spadafore (Steve), Tyler Weiss (Lindsey), Spencer Weiss (Jill), Kyle Bergman and Alec Bergman; his great grandchildren, Cooper, Ella Weiss, Henry, Rosie, John Burk and Luca Spadafore; and his siblings-in-law, Arnold Scharrer, GloryAnn Scharrer and Doris Schlaefke (Bob). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, September 24th 2024 at 9:00 AM at the St. Lorenz Lutheran Church (1030 W Tuscola St, Frankenmuth, MI 48734). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, September 24th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Tuesday, September 24th 2024 at the St. Lorenz Lutheran Cemetery (1030 W Tuscola St, Frankenmuth, MI 48734).
