He was predeceased by: his daughter Sandra Opperman; and his brothers, Eugene, Edmar, Ruben and Marcus.
He is survived by: his spouse Ellen M. Weiss; his son-in-law Ed Opperman of Vassar, MI; his sister Kathleen Weber; and his sisters-in-law, Mildred Bender (Ruben) and Betty Bender (Marcus).
