Harold Braeutigam Obituary
We are sad to announce that on December 9, 2020, at the age of 92, Harold Braeutigam (Frankenmuth, Michigan), born in Birch Run, Michigan passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, August Braeutigam and Anna Block Braeutigam; his former wife Marilyn Voorheis; his daughter Susan Beth Braeutigam; his siblings, Fred, Norman, Ruben "Bill" Braeutigam, Caroline Palmreuter, Milda Block and Lorine Pagels; his mother-in-law Amanda Voorheis; and his siblings-in-law, Judith Naegele and Don Kellerman.
He is survived by: his wife Jeanne Borcherding; his stepchildren, Linda Kuhl (Steve) of Rochester, MI, Steve Borcherding (Dawn) of New York and David Borcherding of Auburn Hills, MI; his sister-in-law Marion Braeutigam; and his grandchildren, Ehrin Rittmueller (Matt), Allie Fox (Adam), Kort Braeutigam, Amy Vallone (Jeff), Craig L'Hommedieu, Laura Rohr (Seth), Daniel Braeutigam, Luke Braeutigam (Isabelle), Kirstie Borcherding, Erin Heinrich (Matt), Ryan Kuhl (Amber) and Abbie Borcherding. He is also survived by his 14 great-grandchildren.
Harold served as President of St. Lorenz, was a member of the mixed choir; served on the Board of Directors of the LCMS and helped to establish the St. Lorenz Foundation.
