He was predeceased by: his brother Donald Ivey; his grandson Paul Harting; his parents, Howard Ivey and Bertha Ivey (Mading); and his former wife Patricia Nichols.
He is survived by: his wife Marilyn Ivey (Holmes); his children, Kevin Ivey (Ernestine) of Texas, Dawn Harting (Robert) of Iowa and Kipp Ivey (Lynne) of Michigan; his grandchildren, Timothy Harting (Casey), Lucas Ivey (Ellie), Dena Howard, Cory Martin (Jackie), Jason Ivey, Michael Harting (Moriah), Noah Ivey, Nathan Ivey, Abigail Harting, Hannah Harting and Becca Ivey; his great grandchildren, Magdalene, Gavin, Solomon Harting, Hudson Howard, Sophia Martin and Mia Martin; his brother Howard Ivey; and also Donnita Simon. He is also survived by five stepchildren and their spouses, eight step-grandchildren and eleven step-great-grandchildren.
Due to circumstances brought about by the COVID-19 virus, the family will be holding a private outdoor graveside service at St. Lorenz Cemetery.
