She was predeceased by: her parents, Jacob Leidel and Martha Leidel (Roedel); her husband Carl Hochthanner; her siblings, Wilmar Leidel (Gretchen) and Milda Braeutigam (Fred); and her sister-in-law Margaret Heinlein (Reuben).
She is survived by: her children, Nancy Bierlein (Stuart) of Vassar, MI, Marcy Buchinger (Matt) of Reese, MI and Merle Hochthanner (Lisa) of Frankenmuth, MI; her grandchildren, Melinda Tysick, Stephanie Calloway (Brian), Ashley Laux (Micah), Becky Ball (Eric), Jordan Buchinger (Michelle), Lance, Spencer, Whitney Buchinger, Nichole, Lauren and Nathan Hochthanner; and her great grandchildren, Aidan, Ethan Tysick and Jackson Calloway. She is also survived by her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
