It is with great sadness that we announce the death of David O'Connell of Frankenmuth, Michigan, who passed away on November 26, 2024, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of David O'Connell to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, John O'Connell and Leah O'Connell; his son Daniel Thomas; his sister Olive; his brother-in-law Gerald Nicholas; and his mother-in-law June Kren.
He is survived by: his wife Julie Kren; his children, David II O'Connell (Shelley) of Brighton, Timothy O'Connell (Veronica) of Birch Run, John O'Connell (Bonnie) of Birch Run, Pamela Mossner (Jeffrey) of Frankenmuth and Lauren O'Connell of Bridgeport; his grandchildren, Jason O'Connell, Krista O'Connell, John O'Connell, Milena Carter, Andrew O'Connell, Kaitlin O'Connell, McCauley Cameron, Madison Sahr and Leah O'Connell; his great grandchildren, JP of Eden, JJ, Halle, Laith, Kennedy and Faith; his great great grandchild Foster; his father-in-law Thomas Kren; his sister-in-law Kathleen White; and also Lindsay Breternitz. He is also survived by many other extended family members and friends.
Visitation was held on Monday, December 2nd 2024 from 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Tuesday, December 3rd 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Cederberg Funeral Home of Frankenmuth (590 N Franklin St, Frankenmuth, MI 48734). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, December 3rd 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
