He was predeceased by: his parents, Harold Hiles and Lois Utermark (Vern); his sister Kay Ellen Hiles; and his brother-in-law Clifford White. He is survived by: his wife Judy K. Pagels; his sons, Mark Hiles (Mary Ann) of Frankenmuth, MI and Todd Hiles (Stacey) of Tyler, TX; his grandchildren, Matthew, Michael Hiles, Nicholas Hiles (Jenise), Grace Hiles, Amanda Hiles and Preston Hiles; and his sisters-in-law, Sally White and Peggy Miller (David).
