He was predeceased by: his parents, Martin Gehrs and Mildred Gehrs; and his sister Barb Jewell. He is survived by: his wife Kathy Sandfort; his grandchildren, Caroline, Nathan Gehrs, Desean, Peyton and Chloe Jones; his brother Mike Gehrs (Karen); and his parents-in-law, Dan Jewell, Tom Sandfort (Irma), Jim Sandfort (Melanie), George Sandfort (Helen) and Mary Roberts (Paul). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
