He was predeceased by: his parents, Arthur Peterson (Helen Creegan Peterson) and Helen Peterson; his siblings, Jay Peterson and Ruth Protzeller; and his daughter Anne Mary Peterson.
He is survived by: his wife Joan K. Burke; his children, Susan Reider (Stephen), Daniel and Michael Peterson (Lorene); his grandchildren, Meghan Reider, Sean Reider, Cullen Peterson, William Peterson and Margaret Peterson; and his brother Ed Peterson.
