He was predeceased by: his mother Louise Schneirla; his brother-in-law Jim Zehnder (Sherrill); his brother Edwin Schneirla; and his siblings-in-law, Wallace Zehnder, Raymond Zehnder (Marilyn), Donald Zehnder, Lorraine Zehnder, Elaine Maurer (Arnold) and Mitzi Reinbold.
He is survived by: his wife Marian Zehnder; his children, Janell Dodak (Tony) of Birch Run, MI, Ken Schneirla (Amy) of Birch Run, MI and Dan Schneirla (Angela) of Frankenmuth, MI; his grandchildren, Rachel, Sabrina, Anton Dodak, Sam Kinney, Adam (Pauline) and Leah Schneirla; and his brother Ronald Schneirla (Dorothy).
