He was predeceased by: his parents, Norman Wells and Laura Wells; his siblings-in-law, Harold and Shirley Boettcher (Meyer); and his niece Susan Wells.
He is survived by: his spouse Dorothy Boettcher; his children, Lamar Wells, Kay Wells-Riordan (Jerry Riordan) and Karen Wells (Paula Sagala); his grandchild Connyr Wells; and his brother Norm Howard Wells (Jean). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to St. John's Lutheran Church of Frankenmuth or Emanuel Lutheran Church of Flint.
