He was predeceased by: his parents, J. D. Lockwood and Zella Lockwood of Fowlerville, MI.; his siblings, Helen Flucks, Eva Beckman, Ileta Hammond, Harold Lockwood, Clarence Lockwood, Vida Curtis, Donald Lockwood and Ruthann Johnson; and his son Steven Lockwood.
He is survived by: his friends, Lou Judd, Humpy Almendinger (Harold), Wayne Copeland and John Smith; his wife Joyce Harmon (Lockwood); his children, Susan Hassenzahl (Phil), James Lockwood, Scott Lockwood (Lisa) and Jill Cole (Michael); and his grandchildren, Daniel, Andrew Hassenzahl, Tabitha McCready, Tera Schnatter, Gregory Lockwood, Stephanie Lockwood, Jonathon, Jared Lockwood, Caitlin Cole and Chelsea McKay.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, March 29th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Howell Eagles Club (141 Schroeder Park Dr, Howell, MI 48843). A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, March 29th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the same location.
In Lieu of flowers the family has asked for donations to VOSH (Volunteer Optometric Services to Humanity) Michigan, a worldwide volunteer optometry organization providing vision care worldwide to the less fortunate.
