He was predeceased by: his parents, Cletus M. Kohls and Teresa C. Witgen. He is survived by: his wife Nancy E. Kohls (Herman); his children, Michael Kohls (Angela), Mark Kohls (Gina) and Jennifer Barnes (David); and his siblings, John P. Kohls (Marilyn) and Cecile C. Jean.
In lieu of flowers the family is asking for donations to Capuchin Soup Kitchen or Great Lakes Caring Hospice.
