He was predeceased by: his parents, James Deeg and Irene Deeg; and his siblings, Jay Deeg, Leona Williams (Dottie) and Dennis Deeg.

He is survived by: his wife Michaelene; his children, Kathleen Smallwood and Patrick Deeg (Kristie); his grandchildren, Emily Jackson (Cameron), Patrick Deeg and Jesse Smallwood; and his great grandchildren, Marley and Aiden Jackson.
