He was predeceased by: his parents, Roy Shields and Robena Shields (Joynt); his siblings, Bill, Shirley and Edna; and his son Joey.
He is survived by: his wife Judy; his children, Kim Champagne and Keith Champagne (Cindy); his grandchildren, Jamie Hartman, Ashley Van Gilder (Lance), Kacie Hartman (Nathan), Sam Champagne (Briana), Max Hansson and Victor Hansson; and his niece Lorna Sayles. He is also survived by ten great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers the family is requesting donations to Place of Refuge Church.
