He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles T. Cruz and Jane Cruz Robert. He is survived by: his wife Sharon; his children, Joey Cruz (Jenni) and Jodi Dillard (Gary); his grandchildren, Kelsey Marshall (William), Corey Dillard, Kaci Cruz, Kalei Dillard, Josie Cruz and Cody Cruz; his great grandchild Michael St. Charles; and his siblings, Charles Cruz (Grace), Penny Hagen (Frank), Tony Cruz (Pati) and Dino Cruz.

In lieu of flowers, the family has requested donations be made to Disabled American Veterans at help.dav.org.
