He was predeceased by: his parents, Junius McClain and Sudie McClain; his wife Frances Lorene Cornelius; his sons, Johnnie Eugene and Thomas Stanley; and his grandson Christopher Knight Jr..
He is survived by: his sons, Donald (Connie) of Salisbury, NC and Kenneth of Fowlerville, MI; his grandchildren, Kenneth, Jonathon (Robin), Eric (Heather), Joshua (Lacie), Brittaney Hobbs and Katie Morphis; his great grandchildren, Lydia, Adriana, Jacob (Maranda), Andrew, Lillie, Ryker, Cameron, Kylie, Farah and Sydney; and his great great grandchildren, Athena, Nolan and Emmersyn.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to First Baptist Church.
