She was predeceased by: her parents, Bud Hartsell and Amy Hartsell (Dickson); and her granddaughter Julia Kionis. She is survived by: her children, Mathew and Jennifer; her husband Jim Gioia; her children, Brian Lipiec (Marya) of Webberville, Matt Lipiec (Jessica) of Howell and Jenny Hudak (Eric) of Sheboygan, WI; her stepchildren, Jill Gioia of Milford, Andrea Kionis of Milford, Jim Gioia Jr. of Livonia and Kathryn Katzman (Dave) of Commerce; her grandchildren, Nycole Gioia, Jessica Kionis, Jack, Lilah, Lucy Hudak, Adeline and Milo Lipiec; her sisters, Teddie Hartsell of North Carolina and Margaret Foote (Charles); her former spouse Lee Lipiec (Terry) of Georgia; and her friends, Joanne Esper, Terry Kreeger (Rick), Pat Adams (Mike), Jean Kaufmann, Cathy Stewart and Bev Fear.
