He was predeceased by: his parents, Nick Hufnagel and Rose Hufnagel (Simon); his wife Kay Hufnagel (Koenigsknecht); his granddaughter Amber Rose Hufnagel; his siblings, Clem Hufnagel, Chuck Hufnagel, Tom Hufnagel (Nancy), Celeste Heckman (Fran) and Mary Arnold (Wesley); and his fathers-in-law, John Eiseler, Ken Hungerford, Carl Koenigsknecht, Roy Koenigsknecht and Joe Koenigsknecht.
He is survived by: his sons, Neil (Anne), Luke (Cindy) and Matt (Tori); his siblings, Esther Eiseler, Helen Hungerford and Jim Hufnagel (Carrie); and his parents-in-law, Marie Hufnagel, Marlene Hufnagel, Judy Koenigsknecht, Marilie Koenigsknecht, Bob Koenigsknecht (Pat), MaryAnn Kaminskis (Roger), Jane Fox, Luke Koenigsknecht (Rosemary) and Don Koenigsknecht (Colleen). He is also survived by thirteen grandchildren; four great-grandsons.
