Frances R. (Simon) Thelen Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Frances R. (Simon) Thelen of Fowler, Michigan, who passed away on August 13, 2022, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Arthur Simon and Cora Simon (Cook); her husband Joseph V. Thelen; her son Ken Thelen (Ann); her daughter-in-law Deanne Thelen; her siblings, Dorothy Motz (Larry Motz), Clarence Simon (Gen), Ronnie Simon (Josie), Leon Simon, Eddie Simon, Bernard Simon (Delores) and Philip Simon; and her brother-in-law Bernard Schueller.
She is survived by: her sons, Mike Thelen (Marie) of Franklin, TN, Marty Thelen (Pam Shaw) of Westphalia, MI and Mark Thelen (Cathy) of Eagle, MI.; her grandchildren, Brendan Thelen, Brigid Nealey (Jarod), Joseph Thelen (Chelsea), Joel Thelen, Zachary Thelen, Emily Thelen, Abigail Thelen, Amy Akin (Ryan) and Dawn McFarland (Joshua); her great grandchildren, Nash, Tyler, Gage, Ethan, Michael, Maci, Millie, Avery, Adelynn and Ariya; and her sisters-in-law, Regina Simon, Joan Simon and Eileen Thelen. She is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.
Memorials may be made to Clinton County Meals on Wheels or Fowler Fire and Rescue & First Responders. In lieu of thank you cards, the family will make a donation to Clinton County Meals on Wheels.
