He is survived by: his daughter Leona Thelen; his wife Marie; his children, Brian Thelen (Mary Ann) of Ann Arbor, MI, Daniel Thelen (Kathy) of Clarkston, MI, Kevin (Lori) of Columbus, OH, Darryl (Dinean) of Madison, WI, Lori Conner (Chris) of Fowler and Andrew Thelen (Kerry) of Manhattan Beach, CA; his son-in-law Ralph Wight (Judy) of Portland, MI; and his grandchildren, Mark, Rachel, Bethany, John, Sr., Mary Andre, Judy, Jennifer, Zachary, Hannah, Joshua, Adam, Emily, Michelle, Thomas, Kurtis, Marcus, Isaac, Oakley, Tyler, Holly, Meghan, Nickolai, Camden, Elle and Hudson. He is also survived by 22 great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
