He is survived by : his children, Richard Strong, Jr. of South Carolina and Robin Abate (Joe) of Fostoria; his grandchildren, Kristina Hathcock (Aaron) of Fostoria, Larissa Strong of South Carolina and Jaden Strong of Lapeer; his great grandchildren, Haylee Hathcock and Nathaniel Hathcock; and his sister Beverly VanNieuwal (John) of Marshallville, Ohio. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
