He was predeceased by: his parents, Wallace Carlson and Deloris Carlson (Varney); and his sister Connie Steele. He is survived by: his brother Don Carlson (Sue) of Foster City; his brother-in-law Gerald Steele; his nieces, Shawna Koenig (Jamie), Amanda Thoune (Jim), Sarah Lucas (Adam) and Tammy Winling (Mark); and his nephew James Steele (Michelle). He is also survived by 13 great-nieces and nephews; and 1 great-great-niece.
