He was predeceased by: his parents, Frederich Winkler and Rose Winkler (Kuntz); his former wife Jean Winkler (Elias); his siblings, Lydia, Elsie, Viola, Freida, Ruth, Laura, Margarett, Emil and Adolph; his grandson Gene Mathew Winkler; his son-in-law John Littman; his grandson-in-law Richard Lueneburg; his great grandchild Abbey Rose Gavin; and also, Todd Schuirmann, Travis, Keith Lueneburg and Rebecca Lueneburg.
He is survived by: his wife Idelle Winkler of Foster City; his children, Gary Winkler, Cheryl Littmann, Pamela Fugarino (Joe) and Chris Winkler (Denise); and his stepchildren, David Lueneburg (Darlene), Carla Tippett (Tim), Dale Lueneburg, Ellen Willingham, Tamara Sina, Tom Lueneburg, Chris Anderson (Jim) and Bonnie Hacker (Tom). He is also survived by many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren.
