It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Deacon Claire Sanders (Foster City, Michigan), born in Frankenmuth, Michigan, who passed away on July 29, 2020, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Conrad Wendell and Edith Wendell (Mitts); his wife Ruth Charlebois (Charlebois); his siblings, Mary Bechtold (Chuck), Carol Lieder (Alois), Sylvester and Eugene; and his son-in-law Ike Green.
He is survived by: his children, Roberta Sanders (Larry Malanowski), Laurel Green (Ike), Mich, Jerry Sanders (Susie), Janet Sanders (Wayne Barta), Larry Sanders (Cindy), Dennis Sanders (Carlosita), Ind, Gregory Sanders (Julianne) and Green Bay; and his sister Charlotte Smith (Gilbert). He is also survived by 14 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; 3 great-great-grandchildren.
Due to Covid-19 and state regulations a private Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Joseph Church, Foster City, Mich.
