She was loved and cherished by many people including: her pet Harley; her parents, Leroy Helzer and Joyce Helzer (Harder); her husband Daniel Berkholz; her siblings, Butch Helzer (Michelle), Dawn Helzer (George Schuran), Ron Helzer (Laurie), Karen Helzer-LaParl, Ken Helzer and Nancy Whitmore (Jeff); and her siblings-in-law, Donnie Berkholz (Mary) and Doreen Sudlow (Ed). She was also cherished by many nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions would be appreciated to the Humane Society of St. Clair County.
