He was predeceased by: his parents, William H. McLaughlin and Edna H. McLaughlin; his siblings, Edward McLaughlin, Lora Zea and Sharon Hodnett; his nephew Robert Zea; and his niece Cheryl Bradley.
He is survived by: his sister Margaret Sabisch; and his nieces and nephews, Dawn Vallad (Timmy), Dena Alderdyce (Andrew), Kelly Schodowski (Charlie), Walter Sabisch (Nicole), Scott Sabisch, Jeff Zea (Roslyn), Lonnie Hodnett, Jonathan Hodnett (Lisa) and Michael Ford (Stacey).
