He was predeceased by: his parents, Fred Smith and Louise Smith; and his siblings, Carlton, Bobby, Fred, Jerry, Bill Smith, Eleanor Wagner, Barbara Bullard, Joyce Dunlap and Shirley Marsh.
He is survived by: his wife Delores Herman; his children, Karen Semrow (Dennis), Bonnie Chatterson (Randy), Terri Torello (George), Michael Smith (Dianna), Larry Smith (Kris Mills), Patrick Smith (Ceil) and Tina Smith; his brother Richard Smith (Eva); and his half-sister Betty Jo Smith. He is also survived by 12 grandchildren; 17 great grandchildren.
