It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Richard L Schwedler of Fort Gratiot, Michigan, born in Battle Creek, Michigan, who passed away on October 8, 2022, at the age of 72, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Carl Schwedler and Catherine Schwedler; and his brothers, Patrick Schwedler, David Swanson and Eric Swanson.

He is survived by: his wife Jean Marie; his daughters, Barbara Schwedler-Lutes (Michael) and Julie Conley; his grandchildren, Jenna Conley and Michael Conley II; his brother Carl J. Schwedler Jr. (Marcia); and his aunt Dorothy Ludlam. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins.
