He was predeceased by: his parents, Tony Kandler and Greta Kandler; and his siblings-in-law, Juanita Kandler and Everett Ruck. He is survived by: his wife Sharon Kandler (Franzel); his children, Jeff Kandler (Susan), Terry Avey and Kandy Tonge (Matt); his stepchildren, Lyle Franzel (Gwen), Lorraine Schulte (Jeff), Valerie Kelly (Chuck) and Tony Franzel (Dawn); his aunt Shirley Wandrei; and his siblings, Carl Kandler, Ron Kandler, Jay Kandler (Donna), Sharon Ruck, JoAnne Molesworth (Fred) and Sandie Danna. He is also survived by 13 grandchildren, 8 great-grandchildren, 2 great-great grandchildren.
