With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Richard D Harju of Fort Gratiot, Michigan, born in Rudyard, Michigan, who passed away on January 9, 2024 at the age of 87. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Wilfred Harju and Sylvia Harju. He is survived by: his wife Dee; his sons, Mark (Julie), Todd (Shelley) and Neil Harju (Sheryl); his grandchildren, Sarabeth Schaaf (Richard), Olivia Boyd (Jordan), Lauren (Austin Struthers), Heather Harju, Michael Harju (Casey), Ryan Harju and Kristin Diaz (Jason); his great grandchildren, Cameron, Natalie and Zoey Harju; and his niece Marie.
