He was predeceased by: his parents, Merton L. McConnell and Reta A. McConnell; and his siblings, Elwyn and Elaine McConnell. He is survived by: his wife Karen; his children, Mark McConnell, Cheryl Johnson (Greg) and Dawn McConnell; his daughter-in-law Kimberly McConnell; his grandchildren, Jonathan, Luke (Shayla), Evan, Sarah McConnell, Erin Creighton (Alex), Holly and Seth Johnson; his great grandchild Theo McConnell; and his brother-in-law Warren Ramsey (Arlene). He is also survived by several nephews and nieces.
