Merrill F. Hendershot Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Merrill F. Hendershot of Fort Gratiot, Michigan, who passed away on March 6, 2025, at the age of 98, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Ford James and Alice Quigley-Carpenter Hendershot; his wife Grace Tisch; and his son Greg. He is survived by: his sons, Ronn Hendershot (Kathy) and Doug Hendershot (Tina); his daughter-in-law Linda Hendershot; his grandchildren, Jorel Hendershot (Sarah), Chenoah Walsh (Ben), Katura Hendershot, Rob Hendershot (Stacey), Marcy Robinson (Lane), Briann Graham (Dave), Jenny Tracy (Nate), Mitch Hendershot (Kayla) and Pam Swanson (Steve); his great grandchildren, Tesia, Shylah Walsh, Ian, Ella Grace, Camden Hendershot, Alexander, Matthew, Katelynn Graham, Caleb, Clara and Colton Hendershot; and his friend Robert Barnes.
Viewing will be held on Friday, March 21st 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Saturday, March 22nd 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, March 22nd 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Colonial Woods Missionary Church (3240 Pine Grove Ave, Port Huron, MI 48060).
Honorary pallbearers: Ian and Camden Hendershot, Alex and Matthew Graham and Nate Tracy, In lieu of flowers the family asks that donations be made to Colonial Woods Missionary Church.
