She was predeceased by: her parents, Carl Nickel and Lousie Nickel. She is survived by: her son Patrick; her daughter-in-law Nancy Patten III; her great grandchildren, Isaiah, Noah and Hazel; and her sister Carol Roggenbuck (Nickel).
In lieu of flowers memorials can be given to the St. John Lutheran Church, Palms; or Sanilac County Animal Shelter.
