She was predeceased by: her parents, Helen Springer and Harold "Brownie" Springer; and her son Mark Haynes Jr.. She is survived by: her husband Mark Haynes; her daughters, Peggy Haynes (Russ Donahue) and Mary Haynes-Rodgers; her grandchildren, Leah Haynes, Nick Haynes (Jessica), Andrew Rodgers, Mark and Scott Donahue; and her goddaughter Julia Mosher Sobell.

Memorials are suggested to Grace Episcopal Church, the Blue Water Humane Society, or the Washington National Cathedral in Washington D.C.
