With heavy hearts, we announce the death of John R Clawson of Fort Gratiot, Michigan, who passed away on July 13, 2023 at the age of 88. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Lew Wallace and Harriet Irene Clawson; his son John Clawson; and his sister Patricia Larkin. He is survived by: his wife Barbara Ilnicky; his daughters, Diana LaForge (Robert), Therese Padgham, Stephanie Sammut (Frank) and Christina Clawson-Galassi; and his stepchildren, Tatiana Sukarai and Kevin Ilnicky (Megan). He is also survived by many grandchildren and great grandchildren.
