He was predeceased by: his parents, Dorothy Witter Fry and Gerald Witter; his mother-in-law Lorraine Sharrard; and his friends, Dave Naplin and Ed Bean.
He is survived by: his wife Kay L. Sharrard; his children, Kristy Snelgrove (Craig) and Eric Witter (Raechel); his granddaughters, Madison Snelgrove, Avery and Delaney Witter; his sister Barbara; his brother-in-law Gary Dummitt; his nephews, Scott, Chuck Dummitt and Fred; his close friends, Eric, Kim, Marissa and Andrea Hartman; and his parents-in-law, Ted, Linda Kearns and Ruth Snelgrove.
