He was predeceased by: his parents, Eric Robert and Theresa; his children, Christopher and Darlene; and his sisters, Diane and Doris.
He is survived by: his wife Sarah (Morag Goodfellow); his children, Eric (Anna), Paul (Thea), Patricia (Michael) and Maureen (Shawn); his grandchildren, Brianna, Katherine, Samantha, Ian, Jordan, April, Olivia and Thomas; and his great grandchildren, Dez, Ryder, Harper, Zed, Mila, Myles and Brody. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
