It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Elmer Nelson Campbell of Fort Gratiot, Michigan, who passed away on October 23, 2023, at the age of 96, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter Campbell and Florence Campbell (Frizzle); and his siblings, Herbert, Albert, Orville, Frances Carver, William, Lucy Sheldon, Allen, Clayton and Richard.
He is survived by: his wife Marie Louis Ellis; his children, Gary Campbell (Nancy) of Mason, Janet Borntrager (Dave) of Kenockee Township, Bernard Campbell (Shannon) of Avoca, Douglas Campbell (Kristy) of Greenwood and Jean Thompson of Englewood, Florida; and his brother LeRoy Campbell. He is also survived by 18 grandchildren and 51 great-grandchildren.
Memorials are suggested to Brockway Masonic Lodge or Avoca Methodist Church.
