He was predeceased by: his parents, Carl Manksa and Ethel Manksa; and his brothers, Daniel Leonard and Dwight Manska. He is survived by: his wife Joyce; his children, Dianne and Marvin (Mary); his grandchildren, Becky Simpson (Andy) and Davie Thayer (Janet); and his great grandchildren, Brenna, Owen Simpson, Ryder Thayer and Colin Bellgraph.
