He was predeceased by: his close friend Joe Wray. He is survived by: his mother Sharon Evenson; his children, Joseph M. Evenson and Grace C. Evenson; his father Dan Evenson; his siblings, Dagny Evenson and Erik Evenson (Cheryl Hadacz); and the mothers of children, Michelle Evenson and Bear. He is also survived by many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, and numerous friends.

Memorials may be made to the family for his children's educational fund.
