Hixson; his daughter Jennifer Mahalak (Adam); his grandsons, Joshua, Jacob, Andrew and River; and his siblings, Luke Mahalak (Rose), Suzanne O'Conner and Connie Schafer. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
