He was predeceased by: his parents, Melford Furness and Marie Furness. He is survived by: his wife Janet Rawlings; his son Ted Furness (Cindy); his grandchildren, Christopher and Shari Furness; his siblings, Norman (Janelle), Gerald Furness (Julie) and Vivian Swanson; and his sisters-in-law, Jerrie Furness and Naomi Thompson (Lyle).
