We are sad to announce that on October 23, 2021, at the age of 92, Andrew Bessette of Fort Gratiot, Michigan, born in Colchester, Vermont passed away. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Andrew Bessette to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Adelard Bessette and Louise Garney; his siblings, Gilbert, Gilbertha, Gay, Noela and Terri; and his stepfather Joe.
He is survived by: his wife Mary Alice Yells; his sons, Mark Bessette (Rhonda) and Eric Bessette (Marlene); and his grandchildren, Brandon Bessette (Emily), Blake Bessette (Kathryn), McKenzi Yerkey (Garrett), A. J. Bessette, Danielle Bessette, Steven Potter, Joshua Potter and Hunter Potter. He is also survived by 12 great grandchildren; and many so loved nieces and nephews.
He was also preceded in death by his siblings, Gilbert, Gilbertha, Gay, Noela, and Terri; and his step-father, Joe.Services will be held in Spring 2022 at the Church of Transfiguration in Pittsford, New York.Burial will be at Sampson Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Romulus, New York.Memorial contributions may be made to the Church of Transfiguration.Arrangements are by Karrer-Simpson Funeral Home.
