He was predeceased by: his parents, Albert E. Bloome and Beulah Bloome (Elliott); and his brothers-in-law, Ken Westbrook and Harlan Gardner. He is survived by: his wife Barbara Walker; his son Michael Bloome (Christine); his stepson Jeremy Beckett (Jennifer); his grandsons, Ethan and Aidan; and his sisters, Joyce Westbrook and Sandra Gardner.
