It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Wayne V. Nixon of Flushing, Michigan, born in Flint, Michigan, who passed away on April 10, 2022, at the age of 95, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Cecil Nixon and Magdalena Nixon (Thiel); his former wife Margaret Larner; and his daughter Doris Moore. He is survived by: his children, Diane Nixon of Ann Arbor, Barbara (Bill McDonald) of Alpena, Edward (Cheryl Nixon) of Flushing and Beverly (Gary Atchison) of Charlotte, NC. He is also survived by six grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; and two great-great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Flushing United Methodist Church Endowment Fund.
