He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Ackerman and Helen Ackerman; and his sisters, Rena Lesinski, Donna Archambeau, Julie Bissonette and Linda Ackerman.
He is survived by: his wife Helen Ackerman; his daughters, Kelly Shands (Steve) and Paula Tibbits (Allen); and his grandchildren, Jacqueline Slieff (Andy), Amanda Slieff, Stephen Shands (Ashley) and Brady Tibbits.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, December 10th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Living Promise Fellowship (7457 Elms Rd, Flushing Twp, MI 48433). A celebration of life was held on Tuesday, December 10th 2024 at 12:00 PM at the Living Promise Fellowship Church (7457 Elms Rd, Flushing Twp, MI 48433).
